Arkhtide Version 0.6 – Now Available!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Arkhtide Version 0.6, which introduces exciting new mechanics, crucial refinements, and an extensive refresh of our card collection. Discover all the updates firsthand by downloading the latest version from our Downloadable Materials page.

Recollect [X Arkhé Type]

This new mechanic allows you to choose X Feat Cards from your Discard Pile, each containing at least one matching Arkhé Type indicated in the ability description. Selected cards are then placed at the bottom of your Feat Deck. Recollect primarily serves as a strategic cost for activating powerful card effects.

Limited Abilities

Some Slow, Fast, or Reaction abilities now feature the “Limited” keyword. Once a Limited ability resolves, it becomes “Sealed” and cannot be used again in the same Round unless specifically “Unsealed” through other card effects.

Constant Abilities

Constant abilities remain active throughout the entire Combat Phase, influencing gameplay during both your and your opponent’s turns. Unless otherwise noted, abilities without explicit timing indications are considered Constant. Like other abilities, these can also be Sealed, rendering them inactive while the seal remains.

Reaction Abilities

Reaction abilities are triggered exclusively by specific events clearly defined at the beginning of the card text, marked with the “->” symbol. These can be played during your opponent’s turn, and while you may activate multiple different Reactions within a single turn, each Reaction can only be activated once per turn.

Sealing and Unsealing Abilities

Abilities can be sealed either automatically after usage (in the case of Limited abilities) or by various effects. Sealed abilities are indicated with markers, temporarily disabling their effects until explicitly Unsealed or until the start of a new Round, at which point all Seal markers are removed.

Alongside these new mechanics, we’ve extensively updated our card library. More than 200 cards have been remade, corrected, renamed, removed, or newly introduced to greatly enhance gameplay strategy and depth.
