Our First Event

We participated in our first event with Arkhtide, where our test tables were running at maximum capacity almost all day. I won’t say it was easy, as this was our first time doing something like this, but we learned a lot about events and understanding what works on paper versus what players truly enjoy. And that’s what matters most.

It was incredible to meet old friends who honored us by coming out and trying what we’ve been working on. We also met many new players whose interest was equally heartening.

Lord Korovin claimed victory in most of the matches, but alongside balance issues, we made significant discoveries thanks to our enthusiastic testers. For instance, we found there were too many tokens and that some mechanics and terms were too complicated to be easily understood and enjoyable. These revelations were extremely valuable and made us realize that we need as many of you as possible to help refine and balance the game.

We are very grateful to everyone for participating and especially thankful for the numerous feedback! It was great to play together and see you all! We’re not resting, as we are already balancing and fine-tuning based on the wealth of information collected.

A huge thank you to Budapest’s Virág Benedek House for providing such an amazing venue. You should see the neighborhood and the place itself – it’s truly stunning with a lot of 19th-century charm. Also while I don’t know how the rooms were assigned, but I must say, ours was the best. It was easy to reach and exclusive to our tables, ensuring no disturbances for our awesome players.
